VASAP - Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program
This program is provided through an agreement with Court Community Corrections. It is to help provide public safety by addressing substance abuse issues to individuals convicted of driving under the influence.
The recession has driven the unemployment rate to levels not seen since 1993; financial stress
can weaken overloaded mental health coping strategies beyond their limits.
PREVENTING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. 85% of clients who completed the Domestic Violence program
did not have another domestic violence related offense since completing the program.
87% of clients surveyed reported they were better able to control their actions. 92% reported
they had more control over their responses to events in their lives.
